The Victorian Apartment

The apartment consists of 3 en-suite bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen/dining room and impressive hallway with a floor area in excess of 2200 sq ft. It is fully centrally heated with thermostatically controlled radiators and open fire’s in the lounge and kitchen/dining room.The rooms all have large south facing windows overlooking 4 acres of grounds where we have just planted 500 trees. As well as use of the grounds you will have access to the front garden and lawns, with ample garden furniture.

We have installed a fully equipped kitchen with all you would expect from your own kitchen including :- dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave and ironing facilities. A washing machine is also available in the boiler room. A DAB radio with IPOD and PS3 docking stations has recently been added. 

The dining table comfortably seats 8 with additional seating around the room, plus an attractive window seat for a lovely view of the grounds. An additional table is placed in the room for larger groups, seating 15 together.

All the tableware is matching Royal Doulton porcelain with ample glasses and cutlery. Treat yourself to a full dinner party or make a simple snack.

The large lounge has leather chesterfields, digital T.V.and radio, CD, DVD and blueray player. We also provide a selection of books, local maps and games.

There are 3 extremely spacious en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and walk in dressing room while the other 2 bedrooms can be set up as either twins or super kings. There are 2 additional beds that can be placed in any of the bedrooms depending on requirements. All rooms have antique furniture and other thoughtful extras to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

All the beds are new pocket sprung Hypnos beds with fine quality cotton linen as used in many 5 star hotels.

The hallway is entered through a vestibule with original stained glass panels and Minton tiles. The wide stair case passes a selection of oil paintings on the way to the spacious upper hallway.

An additional double en-suite bedroom can sometimes be made available with the Victorian apartment allowing up to 10 people to stay.
